Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has backed Joe Cole by insisting that the former Chelsea player will succeed at Anfield despite not making any recognizable impact so far.
Joe Cole joined Liverpool on a free transfer after his contract at Chelsea expired last summer. However, Cole has failed to live up to his expectation with injuries and below-par performances disrupting his time at Liverpool so far.

Nonetheless, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish insists that he has a plan to get the best out of Cole and believes that Cole will be a success at Anfield.

He said: "Joe knows it takes time to adjust after being out injured. It's not a tap you can turn on and off. Even hot water takes a while to come through so it's not fair to judge him right now. He is enthusiastic, talented, and we will try our best to get that out of him.

“Steven is almost there but we’ve got to take a long-term view,” the Scotsman said.
