Real Madrid haven’t kicked a ball against APOEL yet but Jose Mourinho has already predicted that this UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie will be decided at the Bernabeu.

The Champions League winning coach was speaking to the press for the first time since Real Madrid’s controversial 1-1 draw against Villarreal which resulted in the club boycotting the media before the league game against Real Sociedad. Jose Mourinho reportedly stated:
“We are favourites; we cannot deny it. APOEL and Madrid cannot be compared, but I respect them very much. We have studied their evolution and know it will be a tough game.
“Of course, we will try to win, but my feelings are that it will be a tough game and that everything will be decided at the Bernabeu.”
The Santiago Bernabeu will host the much-anticipated Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid local derby. Kick-off time for this fixture is at 2:00pm EST and 7:00pm GMT on Saturday, November 26.

Jose Mourinho has an array of stars to choose from to compose his starting XI. In midweek, key players such as Iker Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo were offered full rest.
Others like Mesut Özil and Xabi Alonso only played a portion of the Dinamo Zagreb match and should be fit enough to feature as starters against Atletico. Meanwhile, Brazilian defender Marcelo may return to the squad after enduring the past three weeks on the sidelines.
Another huge boost for Real Madrid is based upon Radamel Falcao’s expected absence from the derby. The Colombian is currently recovering after sustaining an abductor muscle injury while on duty with his national team. As Atletico midfielder Gabi revealed on Friday, “if there is a chance [for Falcao], he will try to play.”
All eyes will be fixed on the Spanish capital this evening as the 33rd edition of the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy will take place. Kick-off time is at 1:30 PST, 4:30PM EST, 8:30 GMT and 10:30 local time.

Real Madrid vs Galatasaray could have been just another club friendly, but the infamous Spanish Super Cup brawl which starred Jose Mourinho as “the immature bad guy” has increased its significance.
For 17-time Turkish champions Galatasaray, it will be an honor to participate in their first ever Santiago Bernabeu Trophy. But for anti-Mourinho supporters, pro-Real Madrid and a few Barcelona fans alike, the match will get them on their feet. Real Madrid vs Galatasaray could indeed give responses to the multiple questions that have created debates lately.
A quick look at how well have they done in Madrid before?

Only six months ago, Barcelona overwhelmed Real Madrid at the Camp Nou and celebrated a sound 5-0 victory. The temperature of the game kept rising as the minutes went by, and referee Iturralde González was forced to book eleven players, without counting the ejection of Sergio Ramos.
The situation is radically different nowadays, as the Liga title itself is at stake. But it is not the first time Real Madrid and Barcelona must face four Clasicos in a row.
Real Madrid claimed two victories back in 1916, while Barcelona won once and a memorable 6-6 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.
A victory might keep Real Madrid eligible for the title, though they'd still have to overcome an alleged five-point gap in just seven games. Let's not forget Barcelona has only been defeated once so far in the Spanish league.
80 times has Barcelona been at the Santiago Bernabeu for a Liga clash, and the general outcome of their performance in Madrid is rather disappointing, with 50 victories for the hosts, 16 for the Blaugranas and 14 ties. Jose Mourinho's Galacticos have been much more effective than their eternal rival in Madrid. Los Blancos have scored 169 goals in the Bernabeu, almost twice as much as Barcelona with 89 goals.
El Clasico is a huge game; actually, it's arguably the biggest rivalry match in football. This is the case thanks to Real Madrid's history which is - like Barcelona's - incomparable in greatness.
Real Madrid's History: The Early Years
Seeking a release from their academic endeavors, students and professors of Madrid’s Institución Libre de Enseñanza, an organization dedicated to the defense of educational freedom, started up a football team in 1897. They called it “Foot-Ball Club Sky.”
The Sky club didn’t last long, however. In 1900, the club split into two: “New Foot-Ball de Madrid,” and “Club Español de Madrid.” Español’s first president was a gentleman named Juan Palacios. In 1902 Palacios and others split off from Español to form “Sociedad Madrid FC.” The new club’s official date of founding was March 6, 1902. It is better known today as Real Madrid.
If both Iker Casillas and Jerzy Dudek become unavailable for Real Madrid between the sticks, then either Sergio Ramos or Sami Khedira will assume the goalkeeping role for Los Blancos – that’s according to Coach Jose Mourinho.
The Real Madrid manager talked about players and position at a press conference as he explained:
“We know already who will be goalkeeper if we lose the two. It will be Sergio Ramos or Khedira. We train and we’ve eventually come to these conclusions.
“It has happened twice already [to lose both goalkeepers], and it can happen again. Now every week, Khedira and Sergio Ramos will train in goal, just in case.”
Jose Mourinho continued:
“Arbeloa isn’t a central defender. If we’re in trouble, he can play in that position. [Against Hercules], I tried Gago in defense.
