Andre Villas-Boas is hoping that tonight’s Napoli v Chelsea Champions League match doesn’t turn into a career decider.

The Portuguese manager is under intense scrutiny from the media and from some Chelsea who believe that he is not the right man for success at the Bridge. Young AVB is without a win in his last four matches at the head of the Blues’ coaching staff.
His winning percentage is below the average mark, 48.65 per cent to be precise. Andre Villas-Boas has won only 18 of his 37 matches since leaving FC Porto for Chelsea. Napoli will be looking to embarrass the 34-year-old even more.
However, regardless of what happens in the UEFA Champions League tonight, the Chelsea boss hopes that it won’t influence his job for the worst.
Both parties have not officially confirmed yet although it is understood that Villas-Boas is set to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea.

After weeks of intense speculation and rumors, Chelsea have apparently found their perfect replacement for Carlo Ancelotti. Andre Villas-Boas is set to be unveiled as the man to take the helm at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have been eyeing Guus Hiddink prior to this but the Dutchman is seemingly keener on a Sporting Director role. So Roman Abramovich jumped at the chance of bringing in Villas-Boas, who previously worked at the club as an assistant to Jose Mourinho.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea have already agreed to pay the £13.2m release clause in Villas-Boas' contract with Porto. He will reportedly earn £4.4m a season; the exact salary that Mourinho received during his time with the Blues.
Carlo Ancelotti presumes that his job will not be under any sort of scrutiny even if his Chelsea side fail to beat Manchester United tomorrow

Speculations have already been arising regarding Ancelotti's future at Chelsea in case they fail to progress further in this season's Champions League. However, the Italian is absolutely valiant about his future by insisting that his job will always be impervious regardless of what happens at Old Trafford tomorrow.
He said: “I think that a lot of times I’ve said the pressure is not bad. The pressure for me is to give concentration to the players, so that they can do their best. It will be difficult tomorrow but we have the possibility to deliver a perfect game.
