The Czechs hold a 2-0 advantage ahead of Tuesday’s clash against Montenegro but the tie is perhaps not over.

Montenegro are aware about their underperformance the other time. They want to make up for those mistakes and prove to their fans and to the public that they haven’t come a long way for nothing. Striker Dejan Damjanovic claims that Montenegro “won’t collapse”.
“We have to be a lot more attacking in the second leg. Having lost the first game 2-0, we can't simply wait for a mistake from the Czech defense,” he reportedly told the press last weekend.
“We need a quick goal, and if we get that it'll be an open game, and everything is possible. If we start well, things will go our way, and maybe we can get an unbelievable result.”
Throughout the group stages of the Euro 2012 qualifiers, Montenegro proved they are no minnows. Now, they are planning to make of the Czech Republic their next victim.

The Czechs will try to make the most of their home advantage. In truth, they aren’t favorite to progress into the finals of Euro 2012. Coach Michal Bilek has been left with huge problems concerning his man-squad.
Midfielder Tomas Hubschman is already missing from Bilek’s roster due to suspension. The worst news for the Czech Republic, however, is that first choice keeper Petr Cech is currently unfit. The Chelsea player broke his nose against Blackburn Rovers last Saturday and Hamburg SV’s Jaroslav Drobny is a prime candidate to replace him.
“A broken nose is a painful injury, particularly for a goalkeeper who can be the target of challenges from tall strikers,” Bilek told UEFA.com on Monday.
How bad is the news about Wayne Rooney’s 3-match ban from a Manchester United point of view or a Liverpool perspective?
One could view Wayne Rooney’s horrendous red card incident against Montenegro as a total description and reminder of the player’s destructive temper. Prior to what happened during that international match, Wayne Rooney was building a rather good reflection of himself in the media thanks to his top scoring form and his amusing off-the-pitch info such as the progress of his hair transplant.
But the humiliating news about his father’s arrest due to gambling-related issues was only the prelude of something unfortunate. Did distraction play a role in Rooney’s violent conduct during England’s UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro? It perhaps did…
Moral affected for the worst or the better?
But negative incidents can sometimes create positive outcomes. Manchester United’s battle against Liverpool on Saturday will help pundits determine the status of Wayne Rooney’s maturity as a role model to aspiring footballers.
England sealed automatic qualification for EURO 2012 courtesy of a turbulent 2-2 draw in Montenegro.

Ashley Young and Darren Bent fired England into a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first 31 minutes, and the Three Lions appeared to be cruising toward the tournament finals in Poland/Ukraine.
Elsad Zverotic halved England’s lead to give Montenegro hope on the stroke of half-time, before a rocky second half saw England concede a late equalizer to Andrija Delibasic, and have star striker Wayne Rooney sent off.
The draw also sealed a qualifying playoff for Montenegro, as third placed Switzerland were beaten 2-0 in Wales.
England started positively and took an 11th minute lead when Rooney released Theo Walcott, and the Arsenal winger’s inch perfect cross was headed home by Young at the back post.
England will need just a single point against Montenegro to win Group G tonight. They may as well have it without sweating too much.

Second-placed Montenegro must reduce a 6-point gap in 2 matches in order to stun the Three Lions at the top of the table. But it seems like new manager Branko Brnovic has settled his targets to finishing as runners-up above genuine contenders Switzerland.
The latter will host Montenegro in Basel next Tuesday in what should be a playoff tickets decider. Considering the importance of his side’s very last encounter of the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, Branko revealed his plans to reporters:
“I will rest Milan Jovanovic, Nikola Drincic and Marko Basa who will play against Switzerland. I am forced to do these changes because I can't risk all eight players being suspended for the last game.
England can seal qualification for EURO 2012 with a win a draw in Montenegro on Friday.

England currently lead Group G by six points, while second placed Montenegro are six points further back having played one game less.
Montenegro can qualify automatically themselves with a win here, and victory in Switzerland in their final qualifying match.
Star striker Wayne Rooney should play for England, and Fabio Capello told the media this week that Rooney was “relaxed” and able to play despite the arrest of his father in a Scottish betting scandal. Rooney will be a key man for England, and has registered three goals and three assists in his six qualifying appearances so far.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker is likely to start in midfield for England, while Frank Lampard served notice of his return to form with a Premier League hat-trick against Bolton Wanderers over the weekend.
Montenegro help onto top spot in Group G with a hard fought 0-0 draw at Wembley Stadium. Star striker Mirko Vucinic was ruled out with injury before the game, but Montenegro produced a solid defensive display to leave England with a point.

England had the majority of possession in the first half, but failed to find a cutting edge. Ashley Young and Adam Johnson on the wings were England’s primary form of attack, but the Montenegro backline held firm to go in at the break tied at 0-0.
The second half followed a similar pattern. Despite gaining a lot of possession, England could never truly get to grips with the 5 man Montenegro midfield and were limited to a handful of chances. One chance came when a clever through ball by Steven Gerrard produced Wayne Rooney with a good scoring chance, but his shot was well saved by Miladen Bozovic.
England and Montenegro have both won every game they have played so far in qualifying, meaning the winner of this clash will adopt pole position in Group G.

England have dispatched Switzerland and Bulgaria in impressive fashion netting seven goals in the process. Montenegro have registered successive 1-0 victories over Wales, Bulgaria and Switzerland. England have had many recent problems with injury at center back and that trend continued this week.
Chelsea captain John Terry has withdrawn from the squad with a back injury, Phil Jagielka is also unavailable. Bolton defender Gary Cahill is a leading candidate to step up in Terry’s place alongside Rio Ferdinand. Jermain Defoe will be missing for England, but Wayne Rooney could be fit after struggling with an ankle injury.
Montenegro will provide World Cup flops England with their third test in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. Between the Three Lions and the underdogs, who will prevail?

It actually looks good for England in Group G at the moment. They seat on top of the standing – having already scored 7 goals in only two matches. Now the only thing they might be asking for is consistency in terms of results and improvement in terms of performance.
What makes Tuesday’s Euro 2012 qualifying match even more exciting is the fact that Montenegro, surprisingly, are on top of Group G with three points ahead of England who have a game in hand. The so-called underdogs took maximum points at the end of match-day two, thanks to 1-0 victories over Wales and Bulgaria respectively. Last weekend, they also triumphed 1-0 over Switzerland.
But their biggest mission will be against favorites England on Tuesday. Will the "underdogs" bite the Three Lions?
Whereas England and Switzerland will lock horns in one of Tuesday’s top Euro 2012 qualifying matches, Bulgaria will entertain Montenegro at the Stadion Vasil Levski in Sofia.
Bulgaria occupy the very last seat in Group G; that’s following their heavy 4-0 defeat away to England last Friday. Hat-trick hero Jermain Defoe exposed their weaknesses and Montenegro – who stunned Wales 1-0 – are out to repeat England’s feat over Bulgaria.
Montenegro manager, Zlatko Kranjcar, revealed his team’s ambitions ahead of Tuesday’s Euro 2012 qualifying match as he said:
“We go to Sofia with the aim of avoiding defeat. I will be content with a draw. Still, we will do everything possible to win against Bulgaria. That’s something I know how to do, as I defeated them during my time as coach of Croatia during the 2006 World Cup qualifiers.
Bulgaria host Montenegro for the Group 8 UEFA world cup qualifying.
