Real Madrid, Nistelrooy and Hamburg are all involved in a new transfer saga. The player seems ready to run into Real Madrid’s arms, but Hamburg’s Armin Veh doesn’t want Ruud to go.
Last weekend, the Dutch striker revealed that he was considering a return to the Santiago Bernabeu where he spent 4 years – scoring 64 goals in 96 appearances in the process. However, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s career at Real Madrid wasn’t free from frequent injury worries.

In his last 2 years with Los Blancos, the current Hamburg striker featured in only 16 matches as he spent most of his time on the sidelines. In Germany, however, Nistelrooy fitness isn’t a worry and this is one of the reasons why Hamburg coach Armin Veh doesn’t understand why the 34-year-old should quit a place where he’s found peace when it comes to health issues.

Manchester United v Wolfsburg UEFA Champions League Match Preview

One of the most interesting games on Wednesday will see Manchester United host Wolfsburg at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's Nani, Owen, Berbatov, and Evra celebrate with goal scorer Paul Scholes against Besiktas.Wolfsburg seat on top of Manchester United due to a better goal difference. The German Bundesliga champions scored three goals past CSKA Moscow thanks to Grafite’s hat-trick. And despite conceding a goal, they edge Manchester United who could only win 1-0 away to Besiktas on the same night.

The last time Manchester United came up against a German side, they lost. That was during a pre-season match against Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup.

This fact will have little or no impact at all on Wednesday when Wolfsburg and Manchester United clash against each other.
