GolTV signs with Kentaro and Torneos y Competencias to offer viewers wide coverage

Whether it's the Spanish La Liga or the Campeonato Paulista, the Gillette Brazil World Tour or the UEFA Europa League, GolTV has it covered!
It was announced on January 17 that GolTV and Kentaro have come to an agreement which will GolTV to broadcast Gillette Brazil World Tour games and top international soccer matches. Commenting on this feat, GolTV COO Rodrigo Lombello explained:

“As all eyes turn to Brazil and excitement builds for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, this agreement allows GolTV to showcase premier friendly and qualifier matches, connecting fans and reinforcing that GolTV is the exclusive destination for those who are just as obsessed with soccer as us.”

In addition to the partnership with Kentaro, GolTV has signed an agreement with Torneos y Competencias. Constantino Voulgaris, executive vice president of programming and business development at GolTV, declared the following:

England coach Fabio Capello to become a TV pundit as Three Lions will get busy

The next few years will see England’s national football team feature in top friendly matches amid competitive ones.
The Three Lions have been lined up for tough friendly matches against Spain, Argentina, Germany and Scotland. The FA also announced this week that England could lock horns against Brazil in 2013 ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile, they have three more Euro 2012 qualifiers coming up in their agenda. In September, England will play in Bulgaria before hosting rivals Wales. Their campaign will end on October 7 with a match away to current joint group leaders Montenegro.

2010 FIFA World Cup flops England dropped down from fourth to sixth in the latest FIFA World Ranking which is set to change on August 24. In the meantime, the English FA have just around one more year to decide which manager will succeed to Fabio Capello.

With the 2014 FIFA World Cup 3 years away from now, the draws for the qualifying campaigns in each zone have been made.
A total of 824 qualifying games will help define the other 31 participating nations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup where Brazil have qualified as the host nation since October 30, 2007. Here’s how the qualification spots have been distributed among the 6 confederations under FIFA:

Europe (UEFA) have been awarded 13 places, Africa (CAF) 5 places, Asia (AFC) 4 or 5 places, South America (CONMEBOL) 4 or 5 places making it 5 or 6 with host Brazil, Oceania (OFC) 0 or 1 place, North, Central American and Caribbean (CONCACAF) 3 or 4 places.
