Leading Louis van Gaal’s provisional squad are Manchester United striker Robin van Persie, Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder and Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben.

Louis van Gaal released a roster of 30 players before mid-May as strong speculations linked him to the Manchester United job. The ex-Bayern manager was later confirmed to become David Moyes' permanent replacement at Old Trafford.

While club football is on pause in England, the Oranje look forward to squeezing their opponents at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Four years ago, the Dutch went all the way to the final only to lose to eventual champions Spain in extra-time. This time, they could get their revenge as they have been drawn against La Furia Roja in Group B.
