The Uruguayan national football team's coach, Oscar Tabarez, has released the name of the 23 men tasked to defend the country's colours at the 2014 Brazil World Cup in June.

Uruguay are grouped with the likes of England, Italy, and Costa Rica, facing a tricky test in the group stages, as La Celeste are looking to claim their third World Cup trophy.

The 2011 Copa America winners will be looking to emulate their successful 2010 World Cup campaign after naming a star-studded 23-man roster, with the likes of Liverpool ace Luis Suarez, and Paris Saint-Germain hitman Edinson Cavani booking their tickets to Brazil.

34-year-old veteran striker and 2010 World Cup Golden Ball winner Diego Forlan also made the list, as Uruguay's most capped player gets ready for his third World Cup tournament.
