Chelsea's game against Sunderland at the Stamford Bridge saw the end of a record for Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese boss had never experienced a loss at the home ground of the Blues in the English Premier League, a record that ran for 78 games. However, Saturday's game against the Black Cats saw that record come to an end as London side fell to a surprise 2-1 loss.
This loss also wasn't just a first home defeat for Mourinho, but a game that saw Chelsea lose ground on leaders Liverpool, putting the Blues' premier league title hopes in doubt.
All this lead to the Portuguese manager giving a bitter post match interview where he slams the game's official, Mike Dean. The referee had given a late penalty to Sunderland which they converted to seal all three points, leading to Mourinho fuming over what the London side believed to be a wrong call. The former Real Madrid boss refused to say much in the interview but thanked Mike Dean for what he called a “fantastic performance.”

Biiter maybe, Jose Mourinho
