Arsenal and Three Lions midfielder Jack Wilshere could possibly make a return to the field before the season ends, reveals Arsene Wenger. The Frenchman stated that Wilshere has only just started jogging and that his condition needs regular monitoring, but says all is going well and that a return to the Emirates stadium this season is possible.

The Gunners star received this lengthy sideline after he had broken his feet in a friendly game between England and Denmark. The Englishman's season was reported to be over, with his spot in the World Cup in Brazil practically extinguished.

This news comes as a relief to Arsenal as they are fighting to finish in the top four, struggling for the Champions League spot, and have a date with Hull City in the FA Cup final. And with the current injury crisis that the North London club are under, they are in desperate need of players.

"Jack Wilshere should start to jog this week," Wenger told reporters. "It is all going well, but we have to monitor him now day by day.

"The next three weeks will be very important for him. Can he play this season? Yes."
