German outfit Borussia Dortmund played the current Bundesliga champions Bayern Muncih on Saturday in a league encounter. The two sides' meetings have become one of Europe's most heated games as the two teams have battled it out for the league in the last couple of seasons. And even though this season's game in the Allianz Arena was not about winning the title, as Bayern already claimed it, it was a matter of pride and bragging rights.

Guardiola's men had been dominating the German league, blowing away every side in their conquering of the trophy. This is why the 3-0 win that Dortmund achieved over them was quite a huge and surprising result.

This got Jurgen Klopp praising his side, saying their match was “a near-perfect game.”

"If you beat Munich 3-0, you can really speak of a near-perfect game," said the German boss. "We're now focusing on reaching the cup final. Once we're there, it doesn't matter who we play."

The German boss also praised his Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan's after he was criticized for being wasteful in the game against Real Madrid, in the Champions League.
