Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino has claimed the La Liga title is “out of our hands.” The Argentine boss was reluctant to blame his players over their loss at Granada, and stated that his men worked hard for the win, but it wasn't their luck. The Catalan side's boss also stressed that his side will fight all the way to the end.
Barcelona fell to a disappointing loss, away at Granada, meaning they lose ground on La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid, whom may increase their lead over Blaugrana to four points. And with Real Madrid winning their clash against Almeria 4-0, Los Blancos have now leapfrogged the Catalan side to second spot in the Spanish league standings.
"Liga lost? It is out of our hands now, of course,” said Gerardo Martino. “But we will keep fighting."
"I can't blame the players, they kept going, we had the chances but just couldn't finish.”
