Football fans from across the world waited anxiously as the UEFA Champions League semi-finals draw grew closer and closer. With the likes of Spanish heavyweights Atletico Madrid, the current La Liga leaders, and Real Madrid, followed by German and English sides Bayern Munich and Chelsea, a much anticipated, mouthwatering semi-finals was expected.
Then the draw was complete. Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich were pinned against nine-time Champions League winners Real Madrid, leaving 2012 winners Chelsea to go off against newcomers Atletico Madrid, completing the last four ties.
