Former Dutch midfielder and current AC Milan coach has made comparison between his side and Manchester United, saying they are both going through a period of transition. The Rossoneri manager says his side are going through difficulty, as Manchester United is, but stressed that his side needs patience and believes their future is optimistic.
The former AC Milan midfielder took over the helms of San Siro this January, replacing Massimiliano Allegri, but has still seen his side struggle to reach the top four spot, currently sitting at 12th spot. However, the manager pleads for time to be able to make an impact at Milan.

"AC Milan, just like Manchester United, are going through a period of transition and difficulty, but I'm sure they still have the desire to be competitive every year,” said Seedorf.
"It is clear at a time like this we need patience and I think the fans will see commitment. I am optimistic for the future of Milan.”
AC Milan have been suffering this season
AC Milan celebrated an important 2-0 victory over fourth-placed Fiorentina but Seedorf was not letting this get to him.
"We need to remember that at some points we haven't got the points we deserved from games and then we've had positive results and not followed them up with consistency.”
