Arsene Wenger's squad will try to put another twist in the Premier League title race. Watch this big match between Gunners and Citizens live on NBC Sports Network live on Saturday, March 29.

Preview: Arsenal face final title chance against Manchester City

Manuel Pellegrini leads his side into the Emirates for an important title match, against an Arsenal side that has struggled of late. With just two victories in their last seven Premier League fixtures, Arsene Wenger’s side have one last shot at the title race on Saturday.

The Gunners suffered a heavy defeat at Stamford Bridge last weekend, leading many, if not all writing them off. Saturday’s meeting with City could keep their title hopes alive, if they come away with the victory.

After a two-goal draw mid-week against Swansea City, Arsenal fans began to grow more frustrated. Arsene Wenger is once again under fire, but in his defense, key injuries have hurt the North London side. But putting all that aside, the French manager still believes that his side still has a chance at the Premier League title, if they can come away with three points.

“Everybody speaks about Everton coming back on us to challenge for fourth place,” Wenger told Arsenal.com. “Why should we then not come back on the teams who are in front of us?”

Arsene will have to defeat Manchester City with the same squad he had available on Tuesday.

Laurent Koscielny remains out of the squad as he recovers from a calf strain. In his place, Thomas Vermaelen will start; with him and Per Mertesacker having to stop a City squad that can score in bunches.

City have won four straight, scoring 11 and conceding zero. Their 6-3 victory over Arsenal in their first meeting earlier in the season will give them hope of what can be achieved on Saturday.

They will need Dzeko and even Alvaro Negredo to be on point, if they are to take one step closer to the title at the Emirates. A victory for City would certainly put the title out of Arsenal’s reach, while a victory for the Gunners would really make the final two months of the season very interesting.
