Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez has come out and expressed that he is feeling physically well and is not feeling the fatigue of old age. The long-time serving Catalan playmaker has come under a lot of rumors as to whether this might be his last year in football, but was quick to blow them off.
Barcelona's Xavi holds the record for most appearance for Blaugrana in all competition, including friendlies (705 games). He also holds the record for most league appearances (407), and most appearances in official games (616), yet the Spanish midfielder shows no signs of slowing down.

"I am physically well," said Xavi. "I feel even better than the previous two seasons.
"Honestly, this is the first time in my career that I have felt so good. I'm more mature and much better physically."
