Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has praised his side after Bayern Munich retained the Bundesliga, saying he didn’t expect them to be this good. “At the start of a season, you always hope that everything will be good - but I wouldn't have thought that it would be this good,” said Pep.
“In the first four, five months, we had a lot of problems and a lot of injuries. Our level wasn't good, but the individual quality of the players led to our wins.”

Guardiola also added: “If you see how the boys worked under Jupp Heynckes already last season, they have got even better. That is the result of hard work.”
