Juventus and Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon says he is wary of the threat fellow Italian side Fiorentina pose ahead of their Europa League clash on Thursday. The Italian goalkeeper said in particular, he will “have to keep a particular eye out for Mario Gomez” and former Juventus striker Alessandro Matri.
The two Italian sides will meet in the Europa League round 16 second leg match in the Stadio Artemio Franchi, having previously played a 1-1 draw in Turin.
“We all have to focus on the job at hand and hope to achieve the satisfaction of a win that will take us forward in the competition," said Buffon.
"As a goalkeeper, I have to keep a particular eye out for Mario Gomez and Alessandro Matri among their other players.
The Juventus goalkeeper is also not underestimating Fiorentina, saying:
“There's no hiding from the fact that they have a lot of top level players and a very capable coach, so of course they're going to cause you difficulties.”

The last time these two sides met in the Serie A, Juventus came out with all three points in a 1-0 win.
