Former Chelsea striker and club legend made his long-awaited return to West London yesterday and as expected, Blues fans made it clear that the Ivorian was still firmly entrenched in their hearts for his years of dedicated service to Chelsea and for helping them win their one and only Champions League trophy in 2012.
The Galatasaray man could not inspire his current employer's team to a victory over the club where he made his name in the world of football but it mattered very little as he got the most heart-warming reception he could have received from the minute he stepped out onto the Stamford Bridge turf.
