Roma fans and player had shown their support for their Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman in their 3-2 win over Udinese on Monday. The Dutchman picked up a serious injury in a Serie A game against  Napoli and will miss the World Cup in July but the Roma fans and players alike stand by him.

The fans held banners wishing and sending messages of support to the former PSV Eindhoven star.

"Come on Kevin" read their banners

The players wore these shirts saying “forza Kevin” meaning “come on Kevin”

The Roma captain, Francesco Totti, also showed his support for the Dutchman by revealing his shirt in a goal celebration. The Italian striker scored the opening goal and brought out the number 6 jersey in celebration.

Then there was this banner by the fans saying “A Gladiator must always be honoured, come on Kevin.”
