Brazilian legend Pele has again taken to the media to criticize Lionel Messi.

The former Santos star has been critical of the Barcelona attacker in the past, and again choose to express his opinion regarding his form for club versus that for country.

Two different players? Pele feels that Messi with Argentina is not the same with Barca:

"When you watch him playing for Barcelona, it's a different Messi than what you see playing for Argentina," the three-time World Cup winner opined to Spanish publication Marca.

"At Barcelona, he's surrounded by players like Xavi and Iniesta to help him. But, with Argentina it's a whole different [showing] because he [seems to] find it difficult to connect with his teammates."

The four-time Ballon d'Or winner has been long dogged by critics who feel that indeed, he has not replicated the same level of performances for the Argentinian national side as he has done with the Blaugrana.

Of course, with Argentina set to take on Nigeria, Iran, and Bosnia in their World Cup group in about three months, La Pulga will be sure to want to prove those same people wrong.
