AC Milan's campaign has not gone according to plan, which has left some Milan officials and their fans asking for change. Galliani was nearly one of those changes, but now it appears that Allegri will leave the club after the current season.

But until then, the Milan manager will try to get his side closer to the top. The Rossoneri are 11th in the Serie A table, with only 22 points in 18 matches. They are closer to the relegation zone, than they are to the top of the table, which is something AC Milan is not used to dealing with.

On Sunday they will travel to the Stadio Citta del Tricolore to take on Sassuolo, who have not scored a goal since December 1st. With only 14 points from 18 matches, Eusebio Di Francesco's side are really struggling this year.

The struggles for the hosts are not all that surprising, but a total of 521 minutes without scoring is. But despite all of that, Milan's defensive record has not been all that impressive, which could give Sassuolo some hope.

Winning this match is a must for the visitors, not only because of the talent difference, but the Rossoneri have only finished outside of the top four once in the last 12 seasons. Seeing how they are 15 points out of fourth place, the fans have quickly become frustrated.

Allegri will have new signing Keisuke Honda available on Sunday to try and help cut that 15 point lead. The Japanese international joined the club from CSKA Moscow, and he will offer Milan some creativity going forward, and another healthy body, considering all the injuries Allegri has had to deal with.

Along with Honda, Mario Balotelli should return to the squad, after he was out with the flu. Sulley Muntari will be unavailable for this match due to a suspension.
