However, the visitors will be careful to not entertain complacency. After all, it was at El Sadar that La Liga champions Barcelona suffered their first slip of the season, following a goalless draw. Coincidentally, the Spanish giants also stumbled to a 0-0 result on their last visit to Osasuna.

Los Rojillos opened their December account with a 3-0 demolition against Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium. Consequently, they enter Matchday 16 in 16th position with only 13 points. Meanwhile, Los Blancos are on a run of five consecutive wins in all competitions.

This game will be their third away encounter on the trot, after playing away to Olimpica de Xativa in he Copa del Rey and Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League.
