ESPN2 will broadcast this international friendly match between Scotland and the USA at Hampden Park on Friday, November 15.

Preview: Gordon Strachan is still trying to find the right balance

Since taking over in January, Gordon Strachan has done a good job working with what he has at his disposal. He walked into the Scottish National Team with a tough task of qualifying for the World Cup, something his country has not done since 1998, but unfortunately they fell just short.

One positive for the Scotland fans will be their countries two victories to end their qualification campaign.

They defeated Macedonia, but the confidence boosting victory will have been their 2-0 triumph over Croatia. Now Scotland will turn their attention to a USA squad that will be present in next year's World Cup.

Seeing as they have picked up some momentum in their last few matches, this will likely be a much tougher task for the hosts. And with a somewhat young squad that Strachan has picked for this match, it will give the Scotland fans a chance to see some of their younger talent.

One of those promising players is 21-year-old Grant Hanley, who plays his football with Blackburn Rovers, and will be the anchor in the center of the Scotland back four. Containing a potent American offense will not be easy, but Strachan's side will certainly be up for the challenge.

Klinsmann opted to make a few changes to his selection, but the USMNT still has a lot of talent within their squad. The likes of Clint Dempsey, Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley just to name a few, will offer the Yanks a lot of experience as well as talent.

The USA normally used to struggle when playing matches in Europe, but as of late, they seem to have found some form. From their last four matches on European soil, they have managed three victories and one draw.

Having already qualified for the World Cup, the USA will not want to overlook this Scottish team that is full of confidence. Their will be a lot of players fighting to prove their worth for both sides, which should make this more of a hard fought battle, opposed to a well played football match.
