The Rossoneri have won only one match from their last eight, and things do not look to get easier with Fiorentina coming to town.

Allegri's squad has had to deal with a number of injuries early on in the 2013/14 campaign, but either way, they have been extremely poor. Currently 10th in the Serie A standings, Milan runs the risk of possibly falling further down the ladder if they fail to win on Saturday.

They will enter the match having drawn their last fixture against Lazio. That 1-1 draw followed up a disappointing 3-2 defeat at Parma at the weekend.

With the pressure starting to build on Allegri, the Milan manager is starting to show some signs of concern.

"We need to bounce back and climb back up in the standings," Allegri told reporters. "We need to do our best in order to obtain max points."

The visitors will come into the San Siro in better form, but their last match was not all that pleasant for the Viola. A 1-2 defeat against Napoli at home handed them their first loss on their home turf. But away from home, Fiorentina only has one loss, which should be a stat that stands out for Milan.

Six points separate the two sides, but Milan can cut into that if they are able to get back in the win column. One player they will not have to worry about will be Juan Cuardado, who is suspended and will miss this match.

But the return of defender Gonzalo Rodriguez will help Vincenzo Montella add more depth to his back four.

One big concern for Milan will be dealing with Giuseppe Rossi, who has nine goals scored in Serie A. He has nearly half of his sides goals on the season, and considering how poor Milan's defending has been, the Italian international could get a chance to add to that tally.

Milan has conceded 17 goals in 10 matches, but with only four of those goals coming at the San Siro. If Allegri's side is to grab the three points, and head into their mid-week match against Barcelona with some confidence, they will need to put in an all-around effort against the Viola.
