The Capital One Cup is on and the Tigers are seeking revenge after losing at White Hart Lane last weekend in the EPL. Here is where to watch Spurs vs Hull City live on October 30, 2013.

Capital One Cup: Hull City will play Spurs at White Hart Lane for the second time in three days.Preview: Spurs to exhibit their large squad in the Capital One Cup

Andre Villas-Boas has vowed not to let Spurs end the season empty-handed. Last term, the club made of the UEFA Europa League title and a Top Four EPL finish its priorities. It failed to achieve both. In Europe, the London side suffered a dramatic exit against Switzerland’s FC Basel.

In the league, the pressure from Chelsea and Arsenal eventually proved too hot to handle. In the FA Cup, Tottenham Hotspur lost out to Leeds. They also encountered defeat against Norwich City in the Fourth Round of the Capital One Cup.

At this same stage, this season, Spurs are looking to survive. Only a few days after beating Hull City at home in the Premier League, both sides are set to meet again. A late penalty by Spanish striker Roberto Soldado was enough to see the hosts clinch their first win over the Tigers in three attempts.

The latter will be up against a different line-up in this Capital One Cup fixture as a number of Spurs stars will be rested. Brad Friedel will likely be in post ahead of Hugo Lloris while Nacer Chadli, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Erik Lamela could all make the starting XI.

“We will definitely do lots of changes because the schedule has been quite tight. We will have played Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday,” AVB explained in the pre-match press conference.

“We want to continue to do well and we have a responsibility at home to go through. We have the team to do it so naturally the changes will happen.”

Will Tottenham Hotspur suffer an upset or join giants Chelsea and Manchester United into the quarter-finals of the 2013/14 Capital One Cup?
