Ecuador are chasing the last automatic spot in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers. They will play away to Bolivia and the match will be streamed live online and on TV.

Ecuador will face Bolivia in a crucial South American World Cup qualifying match on September 10, 2013.Preview: A matter of pride against strong hopes

Bolivia have reached the end of the road in the South American World Cup qualifiers, although they have two matches left on their list. The first of those comes up on Tuesday, September 10. In this difficult moment, La Verde will be looking for the support of the home crowd at the Estadio Hernando Siles.

The Bolivians had absolutely no luck against Paraguay, last Friday. They were mercilessly dominated by a much-improved Albirroja side as the match ended 4-0 in Asuncion. This heavy loss forced the visitors to give up on their dream of participating in the World Cup next year.

They are the new occupants of the ninth and last spot in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying table. As the first South American team to be disqualified, Bolivia will be looking to gain a bit of pride against Ecuador. The home factor should aid them a lot.

The Ecuadorians fell to a 1-0 score line away to Colombia in an encounter that almost got called off due to bad weather. Conditions in La Paz may not be ideal either. Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina and Venezuela all failed to pick maximum points in Bolivia's home so La Tri will have to be cautious.

However, if Ecuador become the first away team in the South American World Cup qualifiers to defeat Bolivia since June 2012, they will be assured of a Top Five finish. As of now, La Tri counts 21 points above fifth-placed Uruguay (19) and Venezuela (16). There is only one automatic spot available as the race gets tighter than ever.
