Mexico will try to prove once again that they have the mental ability required to win major tournaments. They have been presented with a relatively easy group.
Greece is going to come into the tournament with a team made up of entirely home grown players. Paraguay has only one player who plies his trade outside of the country in Antonio Sanabria of Barcelona. Whether Mali will be strong enough to present a challenge at all remains a big question in itself. Mexico is poised to take this group.

The question, as so often with Mexico, is whether El Tri can really head all the way. Their two best runs came in the first edition and in the 2011 edition. In 1977, in Tunisia, Mexico finished runners up. In 2011, they finished third. Mali made waves when they finished third in 1999. Including this time, Paraguay has qualified for this tournament nine times. They finished fourth in 2001.

Paraguay will definitely present a tough challenge for the Mexicans. Teams from the African continent are always difficult to play and Mali will be no different. Greece will have to work very hard to progress. Mexico should qualify as group winners.
