The Rossoneri know that a victory over Roma at the San Siro would assure them of a spot in the UEFA Champions League.

AC Milan will be hoping to secure themselves of third place of the Serie A and a place in next season's UEFA Champions League when they take on Roma at the San Siro on Sunday.

The Rossoneri have been in fine form in recent weeks, with three successive victories, and will be looking to make it four in a row at home against the Giallorossi.

Milan had commenced the 2012-13 season in disastrous form, and it seemed that there was no chance of them qualifying for Europe's biggest club competition, but since the turn of the year they have been very impressive and finally have the opportunity to book their ticket.

Massimiliano Allegri, the coach of Milan, has numerous selection concerns, with Riccardo Montolivo, Daniele Bonera and Luca Antonini all doubts for the clash.

Italian international Mario Balotelli is expected to recover from a fever to take his place in the starting eleven, but if he doesn't make it, his spot will be taken by Giampaolo Pazzini.

Rivals Roma, who defeated Milan 4-2 when the sides met at the Stadio Olimpico earlier in the season, just have one absentee, with this being injured Dutch goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg. Bogdan Lobont is likely to fill his position between the three posts.

Roma currently sit in sixth place, two points off the Europa League qualification zone, and for this exact reason will take Sunday's clash with Milan very seriously.

But, with 10 wins out of their last 11 home games at the San Siro, Milan head into the contest as the favourites to claim all three points.
