Netherlands, flying through their World Cup Qualifying campaign under Louis Van Gaal, is set to take on one of the surprise packages in their group, Romania.

Team News

Wesley Sneijder is out of this one after being substituted in the first half against Estonia. The Schalke duo of Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Ibrahim Afellay are both out of this one.

Analysis

There is no doubt about this; the Dutch are indeed flying. Van Gaal’s team blew past Estonia 3-0 despite missing some individuals due to injury. Rafael van der Vaart was called back for this one; he scored the opener. Robin Van Persie also struck. Ruben Schaken scored the third. Romania is coming into this one on the back of a 2-2 draw against Hungary. Van Gaal’s troops will perhaps walk to victory, despite various complaints from the Dutchman about his team’s ‘poor’ passing.
