Six CONCACAF teams pursue their dream of playing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil; follow Honduras, Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Panama this Friday

It is time for USA to fly their flag high as the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers resume on Friday, March 22, 2013.Miami Beach, Florida (March 20, 2013) – The 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers resume this Friday in the CONCACAF zone. There will be three matches on Matchday 2 of the Fourth Round: Honduras vs Mexico, USA vs Costa Rica and Jamaica vs Panama. Honduras finished the first round of fixtures on top of the other five teams in contention for Brazil 2014 tickets. After successfully overcoming the United States, Los Catrachos are coming for El Tri. Mexico stumbled to a goalless draw against Jamaica on Matchday 1 of the Fourth round. They will be hoping to find the net against Honduras on Friday. Honduras vs Mexico will kick off at 17:00 EST on Telemundo and Telemundo Deportes in the United States. 

 

Meanwhile, Jamaica and Panama will begin Friday’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier level on points. Both teams drew their first match but Panama might feel more confident about snatching a positive result on Friday. Friday's visitors have scored two goals already in the Fourth Round whereas Jamaica are yet to find the net. However, Panama have to address their defensive problems. Their fans back home will be able to watch the match live on TV Max 9 or RPC Canal 4. Jamaica vs Panama starts at 21:30 EST.

USA vs Costa Rica is another huge CONCACAF World Cup qualifier coming up this week. This late match will commence at 22:11 EST. The Americans find themselves at the very bottom of the table and the pressure is on coach Jurgen Klinsmann to turn things around quickly.
