German giants Bayern Munich plan to shake the transfer window in summer with former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola set to make stunning signings.
Last week, Hollywood FC announced that the 14-title winning manager will succeed current coach Jupp Heynckes at the end of the 2012/13 football season.

The German club, after losing two UEFA Champions League finals in three years, is desperate to transform into invincible giants. The appointment of Guardiola has been described as a major step towards the achievement of this dream.

News source El Economista now claims that ex-Barcelona Pep Guardiola will receive a giant sum of €278M by Bayern Munich to reshape the squad. According to El Economista, Brazil’s Neymar is a top target on Bayern Munich’s transfer wish list.

Other players include Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Gotze, Napoli’s Edison Cavani, Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko, Swansea City’s Michu and Barcelona Victor Valdes who recently declined the possibility of extending his current contract at the Camp Nou. Fresh rumours are also linking Liverpool's Luis Suarez with a transfer which would see him work under Guardiola.

The unique factor of Pep Guardiola’s presence at Bayern Munich as coach might be enough to tempt targeted stars for a move. Several transfer sagas are set to impact the market come summer 2013 as clubs may try to resist Bayern Munich.

In the meantime, Guardiola’s former team Barcelona's are fighting to protect their authority in Spain. Last week, they conceded a late draw at home to Malaga in the first leg of the Spanish Copa del Rey. A few days later, they lost 3-2 to Real Sociedad in the Spanish La Liga.

Barcelona will be looking to defeat Malaga in the second leg of their cup match this Thursday.
