Swansea City vs Manchester United Preview

December 22, 2012 By Samrin Hasib
The team in first place, Manchester United, takes on Michael Laudrup’s tricky customers, tenth placed Swansea City.

Team News

Neil Taylor and Darnel Situ are both out injured for Swansea City. Michel Vorm is back in training after recovering from injury but Gerhard Tremmel is set to continue in between the posts.

Pablo Hernandez and Angel Rangel are both doubtful for this clash. Shinji Kagawa, Jonny Evans and Anderson are all ready to play for United but might not be risked into comebacks this weekend.

Rafael should feature despite having a hamstring problem. Nick Powell and Nani are doubtful. Nemaja Vidic is ready for action.

Swansea plays eye-catching football. They are very good on the counter-attack. Manchester United has been able to win matches from losing positions due to their strength in attack. Swansea might score early goals causing United to dig their way back as they have done often in recent years. All in all, this match should be very exciting and definitely one to watch out for this weekend.
