Nothing will transmit fever among football fans in Germany more than Friday’s clash between Bayern Munchen and Borussia M’gladbach. The last Matchday of the year will open with this mouth-watering fixture.
Before 2012 goes by, Borussia Dortmund could leapfrog Bayer Leverkusen in second position. The former need three points away to Hoffenheim, 24 hours after Leverkusen’s home match against Hamburger SV.
Matchday 17 may produce upsets but two things are clear: Bayern Munchen will go into 2013 on top of the standings while Hoffenheim, Augsburg and Greuther Furth will continue to occupy the three spots at the bottom.
