Tijuana are on the brink of sparking a party in Toluca. A draw on Sunday would do the trick but the hosts are determined to turn the tables around after losing 2-1 in the first leg of the Liga MX final.

Liga MX Final - Tijuana hold a 2-1 lead over TolucaAnalysis

This game is huge, more so for Tijuana. They only got promoted to the Mexican Primera Division last year. In a blink of an eye, they have transformed into the team to beat. They could deny Toluca from equalling Guadalajara Chivas’ 11-title record as Mexico's most successful club.

The controversial point ahead of this weekend’s Final second-leg remains Aguilar’s 40th minute match winner which was suspiciously offside. The first-leg ended Tijuana 2-1 Toluca.

Toluca’s team and fervent supporters will be out for revenge on home soil.
