Team News
Moreirense have two players on the injury list. They are midfielder Pintassilgo and striker André Luiz. Castro is also not part of Casquilha's options. As usual in cup matches, Ricardo Ribeiro will be replaced by Ricardo Andrade in post.
The good news is the return of Luisão, who was suspended during the last two months. With some of the players out of the training sessions, due to the midweek international matches, Benfica manager Jorge Jesus is expected to present big changes in Benfica's starting eleven.
Match Analysis
Moreirense are very confident, after beating Sporting at home in the previous round of the Portuguese Cup. Their stadium is not easy for big teams to play. In addition, bad weather may pose another problem for Benfica to overcome.
Jorge Jesus is yet to achieve glory in the Taça de Portugal. He advanced all the way to the final with Belenenses, but since he arriving at Benfica, he has not been able to match his personal record. Still, with an important Champions League match to play next week, it is unsure the team will be 100% focused on this match.
This comes as an opportunity for underdogs Moreirense who are determined to make history.
