Juventus are nine games short of equaling AC Milan’s unbeaten run of 58 games under Fabio Capello and a meeting with Inter Milan on Saturday could halt their run.

Juventus vs Internazionale is the big game on Matchday 11 of the Italian Serie A.After a mixed start to the season Andrea Stramaccioni’s side have won the last six games in the league since their 2-0 loss to Sienna. Stramaccioni usually fields a strong midfield in a 3-5-2 formation with most of the attacking responsibilities left to the forwards. This allows opposite teams to control possession while Inter sits deep in their own half absorbing the pressure.

Cassano had a terrific start at Inter and he already scored 5 goals in seven league appearances. And he has combined well with Diego Milito at the front. The duo have 10 league goals and six assists between them and they will prove to be a handful for Juve defence come Saturday. Juventus defender Andrea Barzagali said he was afraid of facing Argentine striker Diego Milito.

“I am afraid of Diego Milito,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “He is a complete striker – one of the strongest in Europe. He does not miss a thing.”

Juventus haven’t lost to Inter in the last two years and a similar showing at home will see them clock another important milestone in the club history - a 50 games unbeaten run.

“This is an important match and different from the others, but if we hadn’t done well in our fixtures so far then this appointment would not be so crucial,” said Inter midfielder Cambiasso.

Should Paul Pogba start against Inter, it will spell trouble for Inter who are already up against the best attack in the Serie A. Against Bologna he did almost everything  you would expect a star player to do.
Pogba struck the post, created chances, had a goal ruled out, and to round it off he scored a last gasp winner in injury time.

One moment particularly stood out in the game. Pogba rose majestically and stretched his foot to control a long pass. It reminded me of another French player, yes, it is Theirry Henry. It was a moment that one would love to freeze it permanently in a frame and display it in an art museum.

On the injury front it is still not clear who will be available for selection. Inter were without Sneijder, Stankovic, and Coutinho for their match against Sampdoria. But Brazilian defeder Juan Jesus will return after sitting out his suspension.

Juventus are expected to welcome Arturo Vidal after missing the weekend game for a red card in the previous game.

Juventus have equaled Arsenal’s 49 games unbeaten run but Arsenal were stopped in their tracks by bitter rivals Manchester United. The animosity between Juve and Inter might not be on the same level as the premier league clubs but will Inter do a Man United? we will have to wait and see.
