Fresh off a convincing derby victory over Milan, the Nerazzuri will be hoping to continue their charge against the visiting Sicilians.
Inter Milan will rate their chances of claiming their fifth consecutive victory in all competitions when they welcome Catania to the San Siro on Sunday.

Andrea Stramaccioni's men have become clear title contenders, after gradually improving on what was a slow beginning to their campaign. Recent victories over Chievo, Fiorentina and city rivals AC Milan has confirmed their title candidacy, even if there is still a long way to go.

Inter, who failed to qualify for the Champions League after a disappointing campaign last season, have assembled a new-look side that have shown significantly more hunger than before.

For Sunday's clash with Catania, coach Stramaccioni has decided to select a similar side to the one that won the city derby, but will be unable to count with the services of the suspended Yuto Nagatomo or injured Dutch international Wesley Sneijder. Other players who will also miss the game include the Eastern European pair of Dejan Stankovic and Christian Chivu.

Once again, Stramaccioni will adopt a 3-5-2 tactical scheme, in order to help his side dominate the midfield, something which they have managed to do since the arrival of Uruguayan internationals Walter Gargano and Alvaro Pereira. Diego Milito, perhaps Serie A's most lethal striker, will be partnered up front by the in-form Antonio Cassano.

Like Inter, rivals Catania have been passing through a positive stage, and currently sit pretty in seventh position on the table, following a convincing 2-0 victory over Parma in their latest Serie A outing.

Rolando Maran's side have been very impressive when playing on their own turf, however, have struggled enormously on road trips, with their latest loss coming in the form of a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

Maran has been forced to make one change to his regular starting eleven, with Giuseppe Bellusci making way for injured defender Nicolas Spolli.

Recent battles between the two sides have been very even, with two victories for either side and a draw in their last five games. In the last meeting between the sides they fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the San Siro stadium in March of this year.

Sunday's Serie A action also brings together two decent sides in Roma and Genoa. Both teams find themselves in the top half of the table, and each will strive for a victory at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.

Roma come into the clash as the slight favourites, not only because they are higher positioned on the table, but because while they have a considerably good away record, Genoa haven't mustered a victory in their last three home games.
