The crazy football nation of Honduras could live an unforgettable experience this Tuesday. Their fate in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign is at stake against Canada.

Honduras and Canada find themselves in a tight position as the chase for survival in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers continues.Honduras have only one option. They must win or curse luck. Heading into this 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier, Tuesday’s hosts seat two points behind Group C’s qualification zone. The team will need to find a scoring formula after failing to net a goal in previous matches against Panama and Canada.

In the absence of key players – namely goalkeeper Valladares and midfielders Espinoza and Palacios – Honduras will be looking to triumph. Their biggest strength could be the home crowd, better known for creating a hostile atmosphere against visitors.

The pressure on Canada is less intense. The North Americans are a step away from securing a spot into the Fourth Round. A draw would put them through. However, this is much easier said than done. The Canadians will be missing red-carded Olivier Occean as well as injured Simpson and De Rosario.
