Los Albicelestes will be desperate to obtain a victory in the return leg of the 'Derby of the Americas' on Wednesday.
Argentina take on Brazil in the rematch of the 'Derby of the Americas' with the clear objective to avenge their frustrating 2-1 defeat to their arch-rivals in Goiania two weeks ago.

Both teams will field squads made up exclusively of players who ply their trade in South America, as was the case in the first leg. Great part of the first-choice squads of both teams consist of European-based players.

Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella was criticised for adopting a defensive approach when the teams met in Brazil, but is expected to pay more emphasis to the attack this time around, as the Albicelestes look for what would be a boosting victory.

Sabella has decided to base his attack on players who play for Brazilian clubs, with Cruzeiro midfielder Walter Montillo sitting behind strikers Juan Manuel Martinez, of Corinthians, and Hernan Barcos, of Palmeiras, as the team's anchor man.

"We want to have a team with balance," explained Sabella, in the pre-game press conference. He added that Argentina "can't allow" Brazil to "attack" them.

Meanwhile, Brazil coach Mano Menezes announced that Luis Fabiano will miss the game due to injury. However, he didn't confirm who will be occupying his vacancy, even if Internacional striker Leandro Damiao is the main candidate to partner Neymar up front.

Another change could see Fluminense midfielder Thiago Neves replace Sao Paulo's Jadson. Thiago Neves has been in sensational form for the Brazilian league leaders in recent weeks.

According to reports, Menezes could switch from a 4-3-3 tactical scheme to a significantly more defensive 4-4-2. Brazil understand that Argentina will attack more than they did during the first leg.

The five-time world champions will rate their chances of inflicting another defeat upon their rivals, even if they will be playing in front of a hostile Argentine crowd in Resistencia.
