The European champions will be looking to continue to celebrate in a rare visit to Caribbean minnows Puerto Rico.
Vicente del Bosque's side have travelled the world in almost its entirety since winning the 2010 World Cup, and their latest journey brings them to the lovely Caribbean island of Puerto Rico.

The back-to-back European champions are more than aware that they are expected to fire on all cylinders, but it would be a big mistake to underestimate their rivals, even if they are ranked 138th in the world.

The match can be considered arguably one of the biggest in Puerto Rican soccer history, and due to this the hosts will be hoping to treat their fans to a famous victory, no matter how difficult this may sound.

Spain, who beat Italy 4-0 to retain their European title just a little more than a month ago, will be unable to count with the services of a few of their veterans, such as Carles Puyol, Xavi Hernandez and David Villa.

As well as them, Spain's Olympic trio of Jordi Alba, Javi Martinez and Juan Mata have been excused from the trip, so that they can return to their respective clubs.

However, Spain will field an extremely strong side, which includes the likes of Iker Casillas, Cesc Fabregas, David Silva, Andres Iniesta and Fernando Torres.

In all, eleven members of Spain's 19-man delegation play for Spanish powerhouses and eternal rivals Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Puerto Rico coach Jeaustin Campos doesn't count with any recognisable stars in his squad, but despite this he will expect a good performance from his men, because it isn't every day that they are presented with the opportunity to play a team of the magnitude of Spain.

The Caribbean side have already failed in their attempts to qualify for the 2014 World Cup, and will be hoping to learn a lesson or two from Del Bosque's star-studded side. A meeting with Spain will surely be beneficial for the side and future generations, as Puerto Rico intend to grow as a soccer nation.

Prediction: Puerto Rico 0-4 Spain
