Viewers can expect a beautiful match between PSG and Barcelona this Saturday as Carlo Ancelotti and his men anticipate the same.

Ibrahimovic vs Messi - PSG vs Barcelona - Saturday, August 4, 2012Paris Saint-Germain have not claimed victory in any of their three matches this summer. Their last encounter was a 1-1 draw against D.C. United. PSG vs Barcelona is a huge match and coach Carlo Ancelotti is delighted about the opportunity it presents. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the former Milan manager stated:

“This match against one of the best teams in the world will be a good test for us. What we like about Barcelona is their mentality. We will try to make our own journey in time with the qualities we possess.”

For now, though, Ancelotti’s players want to enjoy the game against the Catalans. Commenting on this huge club friendly match, key player Javier Pastore added:

“We always want to play beautiful teams like Barca. I'm very happy to go up against them. It's the first time in three years that I have had a full pre-season. That must have had an effect on my debut season.”

Playing against Barcelona could give more experience points to Javier Pastore as defender Mamadou Sakho believes.

“This is the type of game that everyone dreams about. We're at home, hosting Barca, the best team in the world,” said the PSG player.

“What more can you say? To play against those players, those artists who are the best of the best... it will be a great chance for us to measure ourselves as a team.

“On a personal level, to play against those forwards can only make you a better player.”

Paris Saint-Germain have made it clear that Barcelona are their model. However, overnight success should not be the fans’ obsession as mega transfer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic told reporters earlier on Monday.

“PSG can't be compared with Barcelona. We still have a lot of work to do to become like them. We are a team with a lot of new faces and are still under construction.

“We are a new team with a project that's being put in place. Like I've said before, PSG are the future. For now, we're taking our time to get used to each other, because we have a lot of new players. I hope that it won't take too long, though.”

The French Ligue 1 kicks off next week with potential winners PSG hosting Lorient on August 11. Meanwhile, Barcelona begin their 2012/13 La Liga campaign on August 19 with a home game against Real Sociedad.

PSG and Barcelona both narrowly missed on the league title in their respective country. This club friendly fixture between both sides has received wide coverage around the world. See where to watch PSG vs Barcelona live on Saturday, August 4, 2012.
