The club idol believes the Bianconeri will progress to the final of the competition if they manage to stick together as a unit.
Juventus veteran attacker Alessandro Del Piero stressed the importance for his side to play as a team when they clash with AC Milan in Tuesday's highly anticipated Coppa Italia semi-final second leg at the Juventus Arena.

Del Piero, who will feature in the Juventus attack alongside Marco Borriello, believes that La Vecchia Signora will be in for a hotly-contested clash against the Italian champions.

"We will play the return leg of the semi-final of the Coppa on Tuesday, and it will be a tough match. It will be vital to stick together as a team in order to achieve our goal of making it to the final," Del Piero declared to Tuttosport.

Juventus, who won the first leg of the semi-final 2-1 courtesy of a double-strike from Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres, hadn't been in good form in recent weeks, but returned to winning ways on Saturday with an emphatic 5-0 demolition of Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

"We really needed this weekend's win over Fiorentina. It's the perfect preparation for the match against Milan, as it gives us a real confidence boost," affirmed the 37-year-old.

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte, the coach of Juventus, added extra prestige to the clash by labelling it the most important match of the season.

"This is a match which gives us the possibility to win a trophy," Conte stated. "Tomorrow we will play the most important match of the season."

Conte went on to confirm the presence of Del Piero in Juve's starting eleven, and concluded by stating "I expect a lot from Del Piero and from Juve."

Juventus come into the clash as the odds on favourites to progress to the final, not only because of their slender lead, but because they hold a significant head-to-head advantage over Milan, with two wins and one draw from the three encounters between the sides this season.
