Liverpool vs Manchester United Report
Super-sub Dirk Kuyt scores late winner as Liverpool defeat arch-rivals Manchester United to advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Dirk Kuyt scored Liverpool's dramatic winning goal
The Reds followed up booking their tickets to the Carling Cup final with progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup thanks to a late winner from Dutch midfielder Dirk Kuyt to secure a 2-1 win over Manchester United in Anfield on Saturday.
The highly anticipated clash commenced at a frantic pace, as both teams tried their best to gain possession of the ball. Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia was the most dangerous player on the park in the first period, and he almost put the visitors ahead in the 17th minute when his 18-metre drive struck the left post.
Four minutes later Daniel Agger went a step better, when he rose to head home a Steven Gerrard corner-kick to open the scoring for Liverpool.
United were clearly shell-shocked after conceding the goal, but they didn't allow this to get to them as they lifted their game significantly, as they waited patiently to find an opportunity to break through the Liverpool defence.
Their opportunity finally arrived in the 39th minute and they took full advantage of it to draw the game level. Following a clever flick from Valencia, Rafael reached the byline before cutting a cross back and into the path of Ji-Sung Park, who fired the ball past a hapless Jose Reina in the Liverpool goal.
In the second period the match continued to be played at a intensifying pace, but while both sets of teams pushed forward at every opportunity they barely created any decent goal-scoring chances.
United dominated the midfield but seemed to lack the attacking firepower of the injured Wayne Rooney, as his replacement Danny Welbeck played well below his potential.
It was clear that neither Kenny Dalglish nor Alex Ferguson were keen on the idea of a replay, when they sent Craig Bellamy and Javier Hernandez onto the field towards the end of the game.
Roared on by the home fans, Liverpool looked particularly dangerous late on, and two minutes from full-time Kuyt raced onto a clever Andy Carroll headed flick-on and fired the ball home to send Liverpool into the fifth round of the FA Cup in dramatic fashion.
