Real Madrid vs Granada will be Jose Mourinho’s second match in charge in 2012. The Portuguese boss, who is enjoying the challenge at the Bernabeu, is looking forward to the clash. Avowing his respect towards Granada, Mourinho told the press on Friday:

“Granada are a good team that defends well and is dangerous in attack. I wish to congratulate their supporters for travelling such a long way for the team's first match at the Bernabeu in 36 years.

“I would be proud of them if I coached or played for Granada.”

Jose Mourinho then reiterated his ambition to inspire Real Madrid to league glory for the first time since 2008. He reportedly revealed:

“I'm most excited about winning La Liga. The Champions League is like El Dorado because everyone wants to win it.

“But small details sometimes decide the winner and you may win the title without actually deserving to. The league is won by the team that really deserves it after so many months and games.”

Real Madrid still lead above Barcelona despite losing three points in the latest Clasico. The Spanish giants could widen the gap to 6 points tonight before the Catalans play Espanyol on Sunday.
