Cristiano Ronaldo is more complete than Lionel Messi - Brazil's Kaka

Since Cristiano Ronaldo clinched a century of goals at Real Madrid while Lionel Messi hit the 200-goal mark, the rivalry between both players has gone to a new level.

Messi and Ronaldo keep insisting that no individual battle exists between them. However, their claims apparently have no effect on the numerous football fans that constantly get involved in heated debates. As the two stars grow their numbers on the pitch, their rivalry intensifies.

Kaka is the latest football personality to share his opinion on the Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi issue. Speaking during Kajuru Pregunta, the Real Madrid and Brazil ace explained his position:

“Messi is like an off road vehicle, but saying who is the best is not relevant as it all depends on what the team does collectively.

“Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the best in the world, but in today's game, I think Ronaldo is more complete compared to Messi.

“Cristiano is the most complete player in the world. He scores with his head, both feet, he is the most complete. I think Ronaldo is the best player I have ever played with.”

During the next few days, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will be busy captaining their respective national team in competitive fixtures. On Friday, Argentina will host Bolivia in a South American World Cup qualifier whereas Portugal will be away to Bosnia & Herzegovina in the first leg of their UEFA Euro 2012 playoff tie.

Kaka, meanwhile, won’t be in action during the international break. The Real Madrid midfielder is reportedly injured. His return to the Brazilian national team has been cancelled.
