Free access to ESPN from 22nd-25th January for BT Vision, Chorus ntl, Sky, TalkTalk TV, Top Up TV and Virgin Media customers

ESPN LogoFrom 6.00am on the morning of Friday 22nd January to 6.00am on the morning of Monday 25th January, ESPN will be allowing all digital TV customers across the UK and Ireland, including all Freeview households, the chance to enjoy access to some of the biggest footballing clashes from around the world, along with a host of other international sporting action.  ESPN HD will also be available to viewers throughout the promotional weekend, where available. 

Among the highlights over the weekend, ESPN will be bringing live coverage from two huge Serie A matches as Juventus take on Roma at 7.45pm on Saturday, January 23rd, followed on Sunday, January 24th with the Milan derby at 7.15pm, with a chance to catch David Beckham back in action on Italian soil against Jose Mourinho’s men. 

From the other side of the world, fans have the chance to see all the drama from another of the most proudly contested derbies on the planet, as Argentinean arch rivals Boca Juniors meet River Plate in the Torneos de Verano at midnight on Sunday, 24th January. Live action from another game in the same tournament will kick of 24 hours earlier at midnight on Saturday, 23rd January as Independiente play host to Racing Club.

 

Other live football that fans can watch over the weekend includes Motherwell v St. Mirren from the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, Freiburg v Stuttgart, Dortmund v Hamburg, Werder Bremen v Bayern Munich & Hoffenheim v Bayer Leverkusen from the Bundesliga and Ajax v AZ Alkmaar from the Dutch Eredivise.

ESPN’s weekend promotion begins at 6.00am on Friday 22nd January and will revert to subscribers only at 6.00am on Monday 25th January.
