After enjoying a great moment at Wembley last season, FA Cup winner Yaya Toure is hoping to celebrate yet again come August 7.
Manchester City will be up against English Premier League titleholders Manchester United in the FA Community Shield on Sunday. With history putting the Red Devils well above the Sky Blues, African star Yaya Toure has asked his team not to be intimidated. He told the press on Monday:

“We have to show [Manchester] United we are here, and we want to win this [FA Community Shield] cup for the fans. We have to make a statement from the start.

“We are going to have to fight to show people that City are going all the way to the top. But the squad has real quality in all positions, not just in the starting XI but on the bench, too.”

Manchester United may not have the chance to laugh off Yaya Toure’s statements unless Sunday’s FA Community Shield battle goes their way. The Red Devils are aware that Yaya Toure’s name is written in the history books of England’s FA Cup as the match hero of the 2010/2011 FA Cup final at Wembley.
