The 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game Presented by adidas; it’s going to be live on ESPN2 on Wednesday, July 27. Kick-off time for the program is 8:30pm ET and the venue is the Red Bull Arina in Harrison, N.J.
ESPN’s organization for the coverage of the 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game Presented by adidas goes as follows: top MLS commentators John Harkes and Adrian Healey are set to call the action, Rob Stone has been appointed as sideline reporter while studio pre-match, half-time and post-match segments coverage will be conducted by Alexis Lalas, Max Bretos, Taylor Twellman and Steve McManaman live from the Red Bull Arena.

There will also be live in-game interviews with select players and/or coaches. Thanks to ESPN International networks’ coverage, the MLS All-Stars vs Manchester United friendly match will be available to more than 39.3 million televisions in 104 countries across the globe.

Watch out for the likes of Thierry Henry from New York Red Bull, David Beckham from LA Galaxy and Omar Bravo from Sporting Kansas. These men will be up against English Premier League titleholders and UEF Champions League titleholders Manchester United in a fantastic friendly match fixture.

Ex-Red Devil and England international David Beckham is evidently grabbing a lot of attention in the buildup to this encounter. The MLS All-Stars vs Manchester United match will see Beckham coming up against his former team for the first time ever.

The 36-year-old midfielder was part of the LA Galaxy team that lost 4-1 to a Real Madrid side inspired by ex-Manchester United number 7 successor Cristiano Ronaldo at the 2011 World Football Challenge.
