Park Ji Sung has never won a Champions League medal yet but insists that he will give 110% against Barcelona this Saturday
The South Korean international missed the 2008 triumph but played in the loss against the Catalans a year later. Nevertheless, Park insisted that he will give his all to be a part of a winning side for the first time in Europe.

"Missing out on one final and losing another makes me more eager to play and win this game - against which team it doesn't matter. If I play and we win the game it will be fantastic for me. It is my dream but I have to play 100 per cent for my dreams to come true.

"Obviously Barcelona are one of the best clubs in the world so if we beat them we will create the perfect final - for me as well. It is a great game against one of the best teams in the world and it is in England.

"They have changed a couple of players from 2009 but their style has not changed. We have changed as well. I don't know what way we will play but we have to show a difference from 2009."

Many expect Park Ji Sung to be handed with the task of stopping Barca's 52 goal machine in the form of Lionel Messi. However, the South Korean midfielder was rather conservative in his response as he believes that the whole of United's midfield will have to be at their best on Saturday.

"I don't know which role I will have in the final but I have to do it 100% and play only for winning the game. We have great midfielders as well: Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs, and Anderson - they have great ability to stop them.

"If we play as a team like we showed against Chelsea or in other big games we can match up against them. Javier Hernandez, Anderson and Nani have had great seasons and it is all about our squad being stronger [than it was at the start of the season] and that will help us in the final.

"Messi is one of the best players in the world - everyone knows that and everyone knows one defender can't stop him so we have to defend as a team. We have to keep an eye on him in the game. Some players have said to me that I can stop him - that sounds great but one man can't stop him, we have to play as a team.

"Everyone will give 100% to stop him."
